Start with what happened
A machine reading or application event means more when you can see what came before it. Chronous’s direction starts with that history: timestamped observations, typed tables, and SQL queries that help people understand changing systems.
The goal is to make relevant history available as context for agents, with clear boundaries around access and human review of proposed actions.
An open technical foundation
The database engine is being developed in Rust with Apache DataFusion for SQL, Apache Arrow for columnar processing, and Apache Parquet for storage. These established components give the project a concrete foundation for querying time-series data.
Machine-to-machine telemetry and application events are core use cases. The console brings organizations, data structures, access, and exploration into the same workspace.

Chronous is in active development. You can explore the database console and the current data workflows. The engine and service capabilities continue to evolve; the agent context and action scenarios shown on the landing page are planned features.
As the service develops, the focus is on a useful data foundation: understandable schemas, queryable history, and access scoped to your organization.
